Marisa Brahney

Marisa Brahney is an Emmy award-winning television host who spent 15 years in the fast-paced, competitive world of TV news.

A born story-teller with the gift of gab, Marisa had an early knack for on-camera narrating and frequently took over many embarrassing home movies. That, coupled with a love for writing and performing, led nicely into a career as a television anchor and reporter.

With a career that has spanned 5 states, Marisa has connected with viewers in an authentic, dynamic way that resonates and engages. From covering hurricanes and wildfires, to walking viewers through some of our time's biggest breaking stories, to building fun, lively feature series, Marisa's work has turned heads and garnered millions of followers.

Most recently, the Jersey Food & Fun series she built as an anchor for News 12 New Jersey drew a huge following for its creative, playful, tasty take on some of the state's best eats. Similarly, her Mom's Minute segment harnessed the power of the mom "tribe," tackling topics of interest, businesses and events that the New Jersey mom community was eager to see featured and shared.

Now, Marisa has combined her passion for great TV with her love of family and food. You can currently see her as the national brand rep for Cuisinart on QVC, working with the website and social media powerhouse NJMOM, and coming to a TV near you as an On-Air Lifestyle Expert sharing products and finds that make her #momlife even brighter!

Speaking of #momlife — Marisa is a proud mom to sons Kennedy & Ashton, and daughter Charlotte, who passed away shortly after her birth in 2014. Since then, Marisa has been a passionate advocate for pregnancy and infant loss awareness initiatives that support families who've lost babies. She and her husband Tony are currently expecting another daughter and are thrilled to be adding another sweet babe to their family!

"Working with Marisa has been a wonderful experience. She is an incredible talent, a gifted writer and a supportive colleague. I’ve been so honored to work with her...and so blessed to call her a friend."
